Marius Segond

Marius Segond is an illustrator, comic artist and carpenter, based in Toulouse. Following a career change, he runs both practices in parallel, and has developed a graphic universe where humour and absurdity are pushed to the extreme, with a particular interest in screen printing and risography. His illustrations have appeared in several independent publications, including Gros Gris, Samandal Comics and Moules-Frites. In 2023, he won the Prix BDFIL-Caran d'Ache, one of the most recognised awards in European independent comics. He is represented by Eddy for commissioned illustration projects.
