Maxime Bruneel

Maxime Bruneel grew up by the sea before studying art direction and drawing in Paris, then at the School of Visual Arts in New York. He has developed a singular graphic universe, drawing on painting, animation and moving image, where line meets colour in compositions that feel at once intuitive and precise. An acclaimed director in both animation and live-action advertising, for clients including Adidas, Facebook and Back Market, he brings that same image culture to his illustration work. His illustrations, whether commissioned or personal, carry an immediately recognisable sensibility. From his studio at La Trochette, he now explores painting as a natural extension of his practice. He is represented by Eddy for commissioned illustration projects.
